Jody, nicknamed "Kid" during his teenage days as a commercial lobster fisherman, embodies the island spirit.
"These waters are our home," Jody explains. "We grew up swimming, snorkeling, spearfishing—it was in our blood. Learning the islands by boat became second nature, a way to respect and cherish the sea. Now, I share that passion with others, showcasing the unique beauty of this island retreat."

Joining Jody is his son, Kayston, a fully certified captain and lifelong islander. He spent his youth exploring the local waters, fishing, snorkeling, and mastering the art of turtle hunting—a testament to his skill and connection to the environment. Kayston's infectious enthusiasm and knack for connecting with people of all ages ensure an unforgettable experience for every guest.
They are also joined by other local captains that have spent their lives on these waters. Their knowledge of the area is the best there is to offer.

In fact, the waters around Spanish Wells were his backyard, where he spent summers fishing, snorkeling, and hunting turtles. Those experiences shaped not only his skills as a captain but also his natural confidence and comfort at sea.
